the stock 85mm LS6 MAF requires PCM reprogramming FYI

I would just stick w/the stock MAF... it does its job and it does it great, screen and all

His sig says FAST 90/90 coming soon so programming can't be far behind. I recommend the stock 2001 LS6 MAF sensor (GM 25318411) which has a screen.

^^^ good point... didn't notice that

1 thing to keep in mind:

most lids are 78mm out
into a maf that's 85mm
Fast 90 TB is 90mm (stock TB is 78mm)
and into an intake manifold that's 90mm (stock is 78mm I believe)

unless you run a 90mm pipe w/out airbox and MAF (SD) you're experiencing a restriction......

how about a 85mm lid - 85mm MAF - 90mm TB - 90mm intake

minimal restrictions for a nice free flowing intake system (only hard part being finding a 85mm lid)

how did you go about tuning? did you tune with a stock MAF and then swapped in the LS6 or vice versa?

No. I tuned the car with the ZO6 MAF using the ZO6 MAF table.

Or depending on your tuning save your cash and go mafless.
