Default Need help....G5X1 and GT-2

I've searched through the HP Tuners site and haven't come up with anything. If you guys have any BIN files that are close that we could start with it would be great! Me and a buddy are installing cams this weekend, and have HP Tuners, but need a good place to start.

My buddies car.....99 Z28. Headers, ORY, Fuddle 4k, 3.73's, Lid, Catback.....I'll be installing a G5X1

My car.....00 WS6. True duals, Lid, 3.73's.....We're putting a Lingenfelter GT-2 sleeper cam in it

If you guys have anything close to this that we could start tuning with, it would be greatly appreciated! Anywhere to start would be better than what we have lol

care posting your tune here? maybe someone will be willing to lend a hand or some pointers? The stickies at the top of this forum are a great place to start...people that were in your position years ago helped provide the information so that future generations of tuning newbs could just read some info & be well on their way to tuning...don't let their efforts go to waste

I know one of my old GT2-3 tunes is over on the HP site. I think there is another one also. Both GTO's. For the most part, it'll run fine on the stock tune. You'll need to raise the rev limiter, timing, and more than likely lean out the fuel some.

Take a look at the LS6 cars also for ideas as its pretty close to that, 'Vette and CTS-V.

SEVERELY not recommended, Thankfully though hptuners allows you to compare two unalike operating systems to see the differences between the files.

Okay great! So I can take the tune from any car that has similar mods and use their tables for a starting point, then work things out from there?
