Default High Idle, until I stop.

My Trans am idles around 1400-1800 rpm after I press the clutch to stop for sign/light, and it will only idle down after completely stopping.... and no, turning my a/c on doesn't help. Any help...would be appreciated.

What have you done to your car recently? These are almost always idle airflow table problems. If your idle airflow tables are already right, then it's the throttle cracker.

Assuming that it is airflow problems, how would I check/fix this problem. This is probably the problem, since i have taken the plastic out from under my slp airbox/put it a new maf, and have a ram air hood added.

First you check your IAC count's. I've seen alot of ported TB's come in with the TB opened too much. If they are fine (30-60) then adjust the idle air control table down.

How would you create the opposite result to that? My car idles fine once stopped, but tries to idle around 5-600 rpms until it hits 0mph. With a 110LSA cam... it's a bit rough keeping it goin at 500rpm.. lol.

Everything else is good, just can't get the damn idle under control, even in speed density.

I thought throttle cracker only applied to drive-by-wire sysems.

yep, check your IAC counts. After I had my TB ported I had VERY low IAC counts (actually maxed out) and the exact high idle condition you are describing. I sent it back and he welded up the little idle air hole in the throttle blade. I then thought I would have to drill a smaller hole in it but I didn't have to, my IAC counts are right around 50 right now with no hole in the blade and now it idles down normal.

It's not the tune; he just said he was messing with the intake side and it happened; almost certainly an air-leak. Those mods will not add all of that running airflow.
