A mail order tune is where you remove the pcm from your car and mail it to a tuner. They put a generic tune for your particular mods and send it back to you. Obviously this isn't the best choice because no two cars are the same, so a mailorder tune is really just a "guess". A dyno tune or finding someone with tuning software that has logging capabilities is your best bet for an accurate tune.

Wait4me is great to deal with and you can't beat their price. I just got a tune from them. The car redlines faster & it's running smoother overall. I definitely recommend them.

I would spend the extra cash for a DYNO tune. I know a couple of people who have ran/are running a mail order tune and they all are having problems and are going to get a dyno tune.

MO is if you're going to spend 4 or 500 bones, you might as well buy the HP tuners software and tweak it yourself. That's what I was going to do, but I figured I'd try Wait4me since their price is a lot less and the tune comes with free updates.

Problem is if you dont know what your doin you can really mess your car up, might as well fork over the money and pay someone who knows what there doin and get it right, just make sure you have all your mods done that you wanna do for awhile, and I know a few places that once you pay the 4-5 hundred they only charge 150 bux for a retune, gotta pay to play

If your going that route you also need a wideband. To do it right.
