shifter hole for m6 cars, or there is a rubber grommet under each of the front seats that you can cut a slit into and feed the wire through there.

I remover the right front seat and the side molding, pulled back the carpit , drilled a hole in the floor ,ran the wire over to the side , and up to the front across to the center and back to the console replaced the carpit and molding

I've got my sensor in the driver's side header, ran the wire up through the hood, and into the cabin through the driver's side door just behind the mirror. The weather stripping is pretty forgiving. Since it's not a permanent install, I figure it's ok.

I slit the carpet and went thru the grommet just forward of the drivers seat.

I get mine at the fuse box inside the car. I connected it to my ACC so that it's on when I turn the key.

I put mine in the center console, I came thrugh the grommet in the floor in front of the passengers seat, it comes out inside the sub frame and just run the wire from there.
