need a tune in alabama or just any help
ok heres my problem. i bought a 99 m6 camaro bout 2 months ago. the previous owner said the car was tuned by gomer (has dyno sheets to prove it) but said that the car had a bad o2 on bank 2 so i bought one and BAM no o2 was on the passenger side, so i weld in a new bung and installed the new o2 along with new plugs and new fuel filter. now the car misses more than it did, hooked my buddys diablo to it and it said the driver side o2 was bad (no missfire just runing rich) so i changed the drivers side and still misses. so now i'm 200 bucks poorer and have a car that runs like ****. so my question is could the tune have been setup for no 02 on bank 2 or is something else wrong with it??? and if i do need a tune how much that gonna run me and were in the north al area should i take it to. or can i do it with my friends diable but he said it was vin locked to his car.

There is something wrong with the car. No, the diablo is not going to help. You can disconnet the battery and pcm and do continuity checks on the O2 wires. Power back up and check for power to the O2's.

Ok you did not go into much detail on the problem so I'll give you some easy checks. Start the car, go around the car pull 1 plug wire at a time (replace if no change) until you hear a change. If you find the miss change the plug or plug wire. If you do this and no fix, swap in a different injector. If the miss follows the injector to the swapped cylinder its the injector. Do all this and if no fix I'll guess some more. Good luck

Sorry I was trying to think and type. If you pull a wire on a good cylinder it will miss and sound even worse. Put it back on its not the problem. When you pull the missing cylinder's plug wire there will be no change because its already missing. Thats the one to work on. Hope this clears up that mess.

yes it was throwing a ses for an 02 sensor so i did weld in a bung and install a new passenger as with a new driver side o2. i hooked it up to my roommates diable for fbodies and it did'nt throw a missfire code so i assume that rules out a missfire. and 405 dave any chance i have like efilive or hp tuners? or just wanna come look at my car urself i'll suply the beer.o and the problem gets worse as the car warms up. i am not ls1 educated by no means i prolly dont know wat i'm talk'n about but i assume that the problem has something to do with the fact the car was tuned with no o2 on the passenger side but i honestly have no idea and will throw money at whoever can fix the damned thing.

First try to contact Gomer, I have a number to call they can put you in touch with him. Call 205-661-6986 (walker dyno tune) and ask for Scott. If he tuned it he could tell you if he turns off o2's when he tunes. Even if he does not remember your car there are things he will and will not do when tuning. Let me know what he says.

ill bet the car needs another tune bc its prob been setup for an SD tune or something like that. Maybe but usually a miss is either fuel or spark. Im no tuning guru but maybe the guy before you had it tuned like you said to run without them and now that you have them in the car its acting like it is.
