Yeah like I said I wasnt sure I just knew I read about it then just now I found that. It was described differently to me before but it should still work for him.

On another note you could just grab a compatible PCM and re work your harness and sensors to match. Its not that hard to re work these harnesses. A tune is definitely in order for that move though

You could probably make any PCM that came from a car/truck with the same count reluctor work. I'd try and source a PCM that will match your set up as close as possible for starters. Close as in an auto or manual and displacement probably a GTO or Vette. Then your work lies in sourcing info. You need to get the pin outs for your harness and your car and your engine if its different than the harness. Thats really the work there the splicing is cake. Heres a good place to start

For what its worth I'm sure its been done do some searching and see who did it and how. Good luck

it would be MUCH easier to pull the motor back out and replace the reluctor wheel, and by MUCH i mean like i woudnt even consider trying to make the
E38/E67 PCM work in F-Body

its starting to sound like your cooked before you get out of the fridge.

I figured it was as easy as re-pinning the PCM to match and changing the nec sensors to feed info. Is this incorrect?

This is the best solution if you don't want to swap reluctors

Anybody else know where to get this? I just had somebody call me yesterday with the same question. I wasn't aware of the external crank trigger option though, however I guess it would be the same as if you were going to use BS3 or something like that.

If you want a name I can probably find out a company that makes them. One of my friends just ordered two 7 inch external trigger wheels for his Wintec project. I am sure the same store sells one for an external geniii application too

if it helps...
