98 computer, how can i get over 8,000 rpm????

Question 98 computer, how can i get over 8,000 rpm????

I found out that the 8,000 limit is 8,000 rpm limit hit the limiter yesterday at the track. is there anyway to move this up more? i have hp tuners.

i want to rev my car around 8200-8300 any one help? thanks

shoot me an email at support at hptuners.com with your serial number & link to this thread and I can get you a fix that will allow you to up the limiter to 12800rpms.

ok, i will have my buddy send you the info. i have no idea even how to find that stuff out. lol im lucky i can figure out how to tune.

Serial number is on the back of your interface.

I guess some people just don't buy into that "aftermarket PCM for big power" BS. Cool.

Does the "new" limit fix include a bag of floor dry, and a dust pan??

ga, my stock computer seems to be working well. car just went 9.7 @ 141 on motor and 9.0 @148 on 100 shot, that was the first time out with the new set up, and the car has never seen a dyno, so the stock pcm seems ok to me.

old, the springs i have with my drive train will rev 8200-8400 with out an issue.
