07 escalade vvt w/ a 07 cts-v 6 spd tune
hello guys i need some help here.
i just installed my 07 6.2L VVT escalade engine with a t56 6 speed.
know i'm using a e67 ecm instead of the e38. will the stock tune file from a 2007 cadillac cts-v w/6speed work on my engine. i think its the only choice i got or do i have any more options.

hello guys
what i have here is a 2007 cadilac escalade 6.2L vvt engine mated to a t56 6 speed manual. i had the engine harness custom made, instead of using the e38 2 plug ecm i had the engine harness made for a e67 3 plug ecm. the reason why was because the 2007 cadilac cts-v came with a ls 6.0 engine mated to a t56 and it uses the e67 3 plug ecm.
know i have the engine and tranny in the car all the guages work oil pressure is up to 40-45 the engine cranks fine but it wont start. checked for spark and i got no spark. now can it be the security bullcrap from gm.
this engine is installed on my 1999 s10 blazer 4 dr. what else can i look for.
if it is the bull crap gm security how do i get rid of that i have the efilive v2 scanner, with it i installed the 2007 cts-v program with the vats off.
can you guys give me some advice. i've been working on my truck for the last 3 month and now im up to the end, getting ready to start and it wont start.

The red 93 s10 I had did the same thing . No fire to the coils. I put a battery charger on it and would tried to crank it every 5 minutes . It finally started to fire one cylinder at a time as if it had to relearn the firing order. Do you have Hp tuners or EFI live?

The only security would be the vats. Or it might be seeing a code for something and not letting it start . Such as the bcm not there. Do you know anyone with ALL DATA of some other shop software? It should be able to diagnose the starter system through steps. If I can remember, I'll look it up tomorrow.

TAC module "forced engine shutdown" .The tac module may be the cause. You need someone to scan it with a tech2 or a motis to see the codes EFI live can't see. It looks like your going to have to go with DBW.

Swapping from dbw to cable wont work. Sounds like you didnt set up the controller to match the throttlebody you have. The TAC is inside that ecm now. So they need to be setup with a tech 2. But the engine you are using will be hard to set up without swapping harnesses and running the correct ecm.
