I actually want some info on it too! i know it had a Camaro radio inside and a weird blue interior. I love the 79'-81 style spoiler it has, i'd put it on my T/a!

its the heritage trans am, a throw back to the Super Duty. It was produced and shown with the sunoco camaro. Took a base formula and did a custom bumper, shaker scoop, spoiler, wheel things whatever you call them, and side vents, all reminiscent of the SD. They put on a killer set pf hamann pg2's, custom steering wheel and shifter, and did ugly as hell blue leather interior. I dont know about then engine but a google search will pull up plenty.

When I saw this thread I thought it was about the Greenish/Silver 98-02 4th gen SD421. I think that 2003 Heritage TA looks pretty good. I'm always a little unsure about that front bumper though.

That is my favorite T/A. I have plenty of photos here

I shot most of this collection, and grabbed the rest online.
I think there is a night video at slow speed somewhere online taken as the car show ended and the car was driven to its trailer.

Default Functional

It is functional. I am not sure why the stock airbox remains. "A unique intake plenum, originally designed for marine use, was bolted to the top of the engine. Air is routed to it through the functional shaker scoop." High Performance Pontiac March 2003

I don't have the vid, it was dark and slow, so it really didn't give much of a feel. The site that where the vid was posted has been closed and replaced, so I don't think I can get it unless the guy who posted it monitors this forum.

No, they took a Corvette C5-R engine and beefed-up the 6-speed automatic transmission to handle 500+ HP. It also got a 12-bolt with 3.42s.

GM stylist and UAW workers custom built this and its Z28 (Sunoco Camaro) brother in just 6 weeks.

I'm digging those old school fender air extractors- might look nice on my 97 Formula.
