Default low-rise WS6 hood

Is there anyone making a ws6 style hood that only rises about half as high? Or is not taller in the back?i love the look of the scoops but dont want anything taller in the back, wife cant see the way it is now.

The only low rise Ram Air style hood is that of the Firehawks.

do they make an LT1 style hood for the LS1 cars? I really doubt it but those scoops weren't as tall at all

actually, yes they do. i don't remember what manufacturor it was but someone posted various hoods for LS1 birds and one was definately the LT1 scoops on the LS1 hood

*edit* it's VFN, but it looks like its only available as a 4 inch scoop which i don't think is what you want

my god thats ugly. and doesnt fit the curves of the car at all.

you've never driven a factory ws6 have you? the rise is not tall at all. I dont even see the hood, it does not effect visibility at ALLLL. Get a factory ws6 hood or leave it stock.

You need a Firehawk or Raptor Hood.

the only problem with the firehawk hood is you have to have a firehawk bumper. the hood fits down into the bumper but the ws6 hood fits over the bumper.

firehawk hood = ugly, raptor hood = ugly, regular 1998+ ws6 hood = sexy!
