Default Towing a '77 bird

Any idea if it is feasible to tow a 1977 Firebird, with a 1998 Bonneville SSEi...

Just before i go out and buy a hitch & ball for a trailer.

the trailer was taken care of, was going to borrow a buddy's, to save the cash, i dont really wanna drop 800 dollars, on a way one trailer and truck, although it would be convenient, instead of driving 14hrs both ways.

But 800 dollars may be worth the safe ride for the bird, without tearing up my daily vehicle.

I dont think you could pull an empty car trailer that far with a 98 Bonneville much less one with a 77 Firebird on it. Honestly thats not even feasable. The hitches made for cars like that aren't rated for anything more than a lawn mower trailer. How would you even stop it much less pull it? Have it shipped or rent a truck.

I had these guys haul a car from California to Detroit. I think the cost was $650? Your bill should be lower.

Good service - convenient and car arrived unscathed.

I wouldn't use them. They spilled oil/coolant all over a 1989 Turbo Grand Prix that I had shipped and didn't cover the damage.

Im in Duluth, GA, up in gwinnett county.

The car is a Firebird Skybird from 1977, its my moms car, who when i was little was given to my cousin back in Kansas, well he didnt like it so it has been sitting around the drive way for years out in Kansas, so for some reason something clicked, and i said i wanna fix it up.

So, i still have to hear back from him, he rebuilt the engine, so he may want some cash for it, but hey, he's family so it may be free.

I beleive they were only in production in 77 and 78, Then the Red Bird, and Yellow Bird followed.

Its blue on blue, and the entire inside is all blue, with a formula style wheel, wrapped in blue vinyl. Pretty sick little car, if i can remember correctly its a V8 350ci, auto trans, goes like a bat outta hell, even when i was last in it which was 15 years ago i can still remember it being a fast car.

Still strugglin to find a way to tow the thing to GA though.
