Question Question about compatibility

Well I have some more questions, lol. I tried to do a search, but so much stuff came up that did not even pertain to my needs. So I did try to search.

I was wanting to know if the following parts would work on my 98 Trans Am. Convertible M6. They come from a 98 Firebird 5 speed.

Doors
Steering Column
Full Center Console w/ Shifter Boot
Tail Lights
Pedal Assembly
Head Light Motors
Wiper Assembly (front)

Remember, these are from a 98 Firebird and I have a 98 Trans Am M6 Convertible.

Also will the doors from a Camaro fit on a Trans Am? I ask because of the door mirrors and how the seem to integrate with the fenders.

Cue Violin -

Listen guys, I know I have been asking a lot of questions; it is just that I want to get the Bird done as soon as I can. i do my best to and search for the answers, but I know that the best info is here with you guys.

I just want to say thanks for all the help and that I truly appreciate it all!!!

OK... Now that that is out of the way....

Cue the strippers -

Everything listed from the `98 Firebird should be the exact same part on a Trans Am.
Only difference I can see is the Center console shift pattern emblem would be different, M5 vs M6.

Sorry the Camaro doors would fit but the body lines would not match up.

Hope this helps and Good luck

Damn! It would be nice finding a parts car close to home. There was a guy in JAX selling a Dash Pad from a 00WS6, but he had just sold it 2 hours prior to my call.

I just reread this part, lol, missed it the first time.

Are the "Shift Pattern" labels glued on on the 5 speeds? I know I seen a "disembodied" M6 "Shift Pattern" be sold. So I would imagine it would be a simple Pull Off and Glue On process!?

Question guys!

I have the steering column from the 98 v6 (see 1st post) along with its key. Now at the time I did not know where the BCM was (thanks Haynes manual, damn POS), but now I know (thanks LS1Tech Search Button).

The new question is - Will the BCM work on my Trans Am?

Just to reiterate, all the parts (see above) are from a 98 v6 M5 and my Bird is a 98 Trans Am Converting to a M6.

I also have my BCM still in my car; not sure if it would just be easier to use mine.

Anyways, I am about to rip into the Bird like a pack of tweaking crack ****** on a newly paid John, lol, so I will have many questions coming up

Thanks guys!!!
