But I hafta add, ..., IMO, the lid would've been better if it was color-matched also.

Looks good but ya should have put this in the engine bay thread for more exposure, IMHO.
Like to see more pics of the rest of your car, is it as detailed as you engine bay?

Awesome. Where did you get the chrome radiator cap and aluminum lip that hangs over the cowl?

the radiator cap is spectre 4338 (autozone can order for you and you don't end up paying shipping)the cover is glued on but had to separate and put back on so didn't set crooked (then ordered three more and seperated to use on oil, brake and pwr. steering and alum lip is 1/2"angle stock from hardware(polished myself).to smooth started by welding up seams then grinding down all high spots then filled in low spots(some had metal patches like where tcs/cruise module and valley on top of drivers side)lots of sanding!the nitrous/ fuel gauge pod I made myself(laid fberglass over two spray can lids to start)so I could watch on runs and always liked the look of the old hood tachs but didn't want to touch hood.If it was all up to me maybe delete A/C ABS but wife needs air and we do use it sometimes cruising around (now wondering about relocating both...)the fuses are flipped upside down(believe I had to disconnect power wire (the thicker ga wire)and reattach after wiggling threw hole where a.i.r. system was.you have to service fuses thru access under car(but how many times do you have to get to?)the linelock was slp (mounted on fenderwell) made bracket that goes to bolt on brake booster and redid lines.bought metric tube (for abs&brake ends (bubble flare)and cut for linelock and those ends take double flare (easier & have tool)

heres clamps http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...chTerm=141-515 you might need at least 2 sets and will have to switch to worm gear clamps (just covers) but still has GM stamp. the linelock is mounted then hand bend lines, takes some work just like fuses fitting down hole (disconnect battery first) heres some pics if it helps
