Default Sad but true for Pontiac!!!

Pontiac is going out of business officially on Sunday. No remake of the Bird.. Sucks

The OP is stating correct and current news. Pontiac has officially closed it's doors as a brand/company/entity yesterday, October 31st. GM stopped making Pontiac branded cars at the end of 2009. They still have about 2,000 new, unsold cars on lots that will now be offered as used cars.

Never had the chance to buy a new pontiac, damn being a youngin'...I guess two birds will have to suffice.

Look at it this way, maybe our cars will be worth more money from a collectible standpoint. Parts should be available for a long time especially after market.

I still look forward to picking up a LS1 Trans Am, a LS2 GTO, and an LS3 G8 sometime in the future.

Firebird Values can only go up now... at least when Pontiac was in existence thre was some sort of hope for a new Bird.
