Default 2001 trans am setup help

hey guys..

i have a 2001 TA just put in a brand new LS1 motor, Volant CAI, SLP smooth bellow, Borla Catback, Long tubes, LS2 Timing Chain, Vig 3200 Stall, 228R Cam..upgraded valve springs, connecting rods all hat stuff, 20k BTU tranny cooler, 160 thermostat, and stock injectors and stock tranny

it has a regular street tune never been on the dyno for any tuning

i was told that i should see major upgrades in speed and performance but i dont see anything. to be honest my car felt faster with full exhaust and idk why that is. its very sluggish and feels like it is going no where. two codes came up PO757 and PO121.. they were both cleared out of the car but still no difference.

does anyone have any ideas on why it is like this??

the torque converter? I'm an m6 guy so I'm not sure how high of a stall 3200 is, but a lot of times you have to load those things up to get going... great for the drag strip, not so much for the street.

Then get it tuned and see if that fixes it.
Until it's tuned you can't tell much of anything.

I wasn't just trying to brush you off with saying to get a tune. The car just won't be right until it's tuned to match your modifications. The A/F ratio, for example, always gets out of whack with just a set of headers. Once you have the care tuned, you'll be amazed at the difference. It should be like a new car again.

Don't bother with the hand-held "tuners". Save your cash and put it towards a good tune. The tune on my 2000 'bird took the better part of 6 hours because the tuner wanted to get it dialed in as best as possible. The guy that did mine now works for Lingenfelter!
