1st car second row

I posted another thread on this but have since driven the vehicle and im ready to make an offer on the car but the code its showing has me concerned.
Its showing code P0430 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2)
Has anyone had this problem and will it seriously affect the car? How much would it cost to fix?

My car is showing the P0420 code which is the same thing but on the driver side. If I'm not mistaken, P0430 is the passenger side, which just means the O2 sensor is bad. Not a huge problem at all. The sensors new cost anywhere from 60-90 dollars depending on what you want. If you're a bit car savvy, you can replace it yourself in a couple of hours (if it's your first time doing it).

Nothing at all wrong with the car if that's the only code and you should definitely make an offer.

Why does it not have the RAM AIR hood, though? Is there some mis-alignment in the front?

Should it have the ram air hood? It's not a WS6. I don't know if it has some mis-alignment in the front. Is there something in the pics that makes you think this? I drove the car and it didn't seem to.

Thx

Not to be a downer but you need to explore for certain why the SES light is on and for how long. The catalytic converters go bad in these cars (ask me how I know and read some of the threads) and this could be the issue. If fixed properly in a timely fashion, no problem. However I was told by a well respected service writer at a GM dealerhip that the problem can escalate into serious engine problems if ignored too long. So what is the deal with your car? Is it a new problem or has the car been driven for 10,000 miles with it? If you can't get satisfactory answers, move on. You don't need an important car purchase to become both a heartache and money pit. Too many cars still out there to settle. Good luck!

This was my thinking. What would a repair like this cost?
