I was thinking off doing the plasti dip spray thing. It's basically just a vinyl wrap and it will protect the wheels from anymore scratches. Also it costs about 20$ vs 600$ for the vette wheels.

I just did my z06 wheels and it turned out awesome. I didnt even take them off the car. i taped the lug nuts, valve stem and stuffed newspaper in the wheel so it covered the rotor and calipers. Any over spray can be peeled off or wiped off. Its the easiest paint job ive ever done. Just start with a light coat and then you can go heavier. Its been about 2 weeks and it still looks good. It took me 3 cars to do all the wheels but maybe go 4 just in case

Hell I wouldn't even plasti-dip them, but I'm not a big fan of black wheels. IMO the stock finish all polished up looks the best. I've always been a fan of the thin spoke ws6 wheels.

Congrats and welcome to the flock.

Drive your car and enjoy it, life is too short for garage ornaments.
