Inspect the front suspension for any wear or damage and then have the alignment checked.

Wide front tires have a tendency to pull you around a bit in general as well.

There should be no difference in cars (I own both). Perhaps your tires?? Cheaper brand tires are known for tramlining once the tread starts wearing down. You will really feel it in an F-body. When it comes to tires you definitely get what you pay for. Also too large of a wheel or tire will affect many ride features as well. You running a stock rim and tire? What brand tire do you have?

I agree as well. Just upgraded from cheap tires that were on the car when I bought it. It was all over the place every time I hit grooves in the road. Much better with decent tires (and tires that all match lol)

There shouldn't be an issue with the BFG tires unless the tread is gone. They are decent tires.
I'm thinking you are 'too large' which is causing the problem. I run 'stock' so perhaps others with non-stock can assist further.

What is the tire size not the rim? I'm running a 255/40/17 on the front with a 17x9 rim size. I some times feel the road grab but not to bad, it is just a product of running a wider tire on the front, the road surface has tire tracks from repeated running, some heavy truck routs will track more than back roads and side streets not a thing you can do unless you put skinner tires up there.
The first # on the size is your width I think 235 or 245 is stock I didn't want to go any wider than the 255 I went with.
