Unhappy Busted transmission mount? Help.

1995 Trans Am 355 LT1/4 T56 tranny....

Anyways, while in reverse the other day (6 speed) I felt a prett heft shake. Figured maybe too low rpm...didn't think anything of it. This morning on the way to work The clutch engagement point felt a little different than what i was use to....got work checked to see if i still had hydraulic fluid...it was good. On the way home i could still tell the clutch engagement was different....the top position on the clutch i could feel vibration...gear shift popped a little to the right when taking off in first...so while at 75 i went from 0% to 75% on the gas pedal and heard a squeak and quite a bit of vibration....this all happened at once and don't have the means to lift the car until this weekend...Think it's okay to drive the rest of the week? And what would be your professional/experienced answer to my problem?

Not sure about a busted tranny mount. When mine broke it sounded like the tranny was coming through the floor. Good way to check is go to brake torque and but don't spin tires do it slowly and have someone watch the tranny to see if it lifts up. That's how I found mine

Broken transmission mount is going to feel like the transmission is going to come through the hump in the floor.

I bought a S10 Blazer new in 1989 and the trans mount was missing it's bolts to the unit. Freekin dealer couldn't figure it out after three tries.

Ahh, the bad old days of GM...
