Default am i getting the right mods for the best horsepower?

i have come up with enough money to get exhaust, headers, and powerchip,i was thinking SLP "loud mouth" cat-back exhaust, hooker super compitition headers and a hypertech power programmer.are these the best mods for 1000 bux? and the best brands,i need the most horsepower because im going to be drag racing it in the sddra.i need allot of power,if any of you know of anything that would be better for 1000 dollars please post a reply even if you dont post ur favorite performance products!

Nitrous and if it is an automatic, get a big fat converter!

nitrous - TNT and NX
converter - Precision Industries (Vigilante)

Or cam and nitrous. Find someone selling what ever you want to buy used so it will make it cheaper and you can get more for your money instead of buying new...

If you want the most bang for the buck get nitrous and a cat back exhaust. Like angus said if you have an automatic get a convertor first. A converter will make the biggest difference with your budget.

if an auto a PTC converter and a shot of gas will get you mid 7s with traction. I would get tires first a set of spohn relocation brackets is the best short time (60 foot) improver i have ever seen for the money get the weld on ones they are a good piece better than ones costing twice as much
