Your local GM dealer. (If they aren't discontinued.). That's where I got mine a few years back. If you are missing the rubber isolators on those behind the panel, you will probably want those, too. They really cut down rattling noises in the panel.

YUP - if ppl (me included) would use the correct tool to remove, they wouldnt get so chewed up. the square end of an old key works perfect.

And I was just getting on this site to post a question about what is the best tool to use to remove these things! Never thought of a square key.

They are designed to be opened with a Quarter or other similarly sized coin.

^ People used to have those with them when these cars were made. There were even built with "coin holders" in the center console.

Sorry. Nickel. One of the coins in my pocket is a perfect fit. It's been a while for me. As long as the device in there is the perfect thickness, it won't get chewed up.
