Well, there is 3800Pro.com, CamaroV6.com, FirebirdV6.com, FullThrottleV6.com and probably others, lol. Unfortunately I had to get a V6 to keep my insurance down. Insurance companies don't exactly like 19 year olds that drive sports cars. I've had only 1 accident and it wasn't my fault but my insurance is still outrageous with the V6. My project car that is in my signature will be a nice change when it's done though. I can't wait to hear and feel the rumble of a 7.0L LS1 instead of the wimpy sound of the little 3800.

Unfortunately gang its just a plain old firebird . It still beats having a rice burner right? A swell kid totaled the one I had before, it was beautiful, 2000, red, Black leather interior, yeah I cried. He hit me hard enough on the drivers side it crushed the battery in the car, screwed up the frame. I sure miss that car but this one was a great deal and who can pass that kind of thing up?

WEEEEEEEEEEEEE SIX....I used to drive my dad's firebird, it looked exactly like that except it was a 1996 m5.

Now as a 19 year old I drive a real firebird (see sig).

Some guy at my work (Best Buy) from firebirdv6.com asked to race me for paychecks the other day....

He said he had a slp whisper lid, headers, high flow cat, a flowfaster (flowmaster) exhaust, and a camaro z28 rear in his 98-02 base model.

I just laughed and walked away.

I had a v6 camaro for my first car (it was awesome for high school, coolest ride around) I think I was paying $250-ish a month for insurance, basic coverage, then when I got my Formula, for the first three months they were charging me $390!!! But now it's at a resonable (I'm still only 19) $230 a month, full coverage.

Im 17 and my formula is around $2700 a year without collision. I kno some of my friends who are paying within $500 and have junky useless vehicles. The insurance company said my insurance would be the cheapest if i was designated as the primary driver of the formula over the avalanche and grand prix so who knows.

You give me hope! I'm 17 and dreading what my insurance quotes are gonna look like. Probably be looking at a 2000 WS6 in the very near future.

Oh, and Bluedrako, yes, MUCH better than a Rice burner... stylin' ride!

Well at first I was on the same policy as my mom with Farmer's Insurance and they wanted $370 a month then in March I got in an accident and the other person had no insurance and so my insurance company picked up the bill for the damage to my car. They then jacked the price up to over $500 a month . So I got quotes from all different places and found Progressive to be the cheapest at $280 a month. The car is being financed thru National City Bank though so I have to maintain full coverage on it otherwise I would drop it down to liability. When I was still driving my 97 Firebird, I only had liability on it because my grandparent's bought it for me for christmas two years ago so there was no loan on it and Farmers was only charging me about $100 a month.
