New bird on the board.
I've already posted in the new members board and am interested in getting my project on the go.. I have a 76 Firebird with a 400 big block, the body is in rough shape (mostly the fenders) but the car is restorable. I hope I can get pointed in the right direction around the board to get the help I need.
Thanx..

All Pontiac blocks from 1969 to 1976 were all the same block 326 to 455 (different bores and strokes to make up displacment), actually if you were to put a Chevy small block next to a Pontiac block it bigger but smaller than a Chevy BB, I like to call it a GM Mid-Block.

I was told it was a 400.. I will see what the serial # brings up.

Naw, he's right Black. While most consider the BOP motors to be "Big Blocks", they're neither big, nor small. There is no question that it's a 400. And 73Form, it's 307-455.
