Default Does anyone know the weight of a WS6 hood or the standard hood?
Has anyone weighed one of these? What about the Firehawk hood?

50 lbs. Only reason why I know is because I have been looking to get a ws6 hood for my bird and I came across a website that listed the weight for shipping. Not sure about the firehawk or firebird hood but i imagine somewhere around there.

Yep.

And if actually weighs 50lbs, I'd really like to know what the flat(base/steel) version weighs. 50lbs is rather heavy.

My thoughts awell
It's been a few years (8) since I swapped my Hood but I don't remember the WS6 hood weighing 50 lbs.

Today found numbers 57lbs. (flat, steel), 42 (WS6 OEM), 25 (WS6 VPN). However don't know, which is with all hinges/latch, which is not. I suspect that VPN quoted weight is for hood alone.

my ws6 hood is very light, i can pick it up with one hand, its just an odd shape

The OEM Ram Air hood is actually plastic. The base model hood is Steel.
