WS6 Phoenix edition?

WS6 Phoenix edition? Hey there guys, i was heading to my campus today and saw a 96 black ws6 for sale. i stopped in to check the car out and the guy who is trying to sell it comes out and tells me its an incredibly rare car because its a WS6 Phoenix edition. Personally never heard of it, anyone know what its about? just wanna know if he is pulling my chain because as soon as he said 10 grand i walked away. wondering if its worth my time to try and negotiate

No such thing as a Phoenix according to the Standard Catalog of Firebird but there was a rare Harley Davidson version made that year (40 made). The WS6 was first made in 1996 which makes it special with a total of 2,051 built with 305 HP vs regular T/A at 285 HP. Nice car and probably not a whole lot of survivors out there in decent shape.

have you ever seen those Harley Davidson Trans Ams? the interior is Horrible looking

Yea no such thing as a Phoenix edition, sounds good though, I must admit Firehawk was as rare as they got
