Default 2000 Ram air package

So I just bought a white 2000 firebird trans-am M6 with 22k miles and "ram air".

My dad has a blue 2000 firebird trans-am convertible A4 WS6/ram air 18k miles.

So my question is, if my car has the ram air package, is it also a ws6? Or was there a ram air package seperate from the ws6 package?

Both cars look nearly identical except my doesnt have the WS6 badge, but has working ram air setup.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I looked in the door jam and see a "WS6" on my dads but not on mine.

So it looks like there was a way to only get ram air and not the suspension/exhaust tweaks.

no, it doesnt look that way. if there is no WS6 on your sticker, then the car is not a WS6, and was not factory ram air. someone else added the hood and maybe the airbox. there was NO way you can get either ram air or ws6.....they both came together, no exceptions.

Yeah that must be it then.

The hood and ram air was added, because it does have ram air, the airbox setup is identical to my dads which is 100% un molested.

Well thats disapointing kind of, oh well, the car is fun as hell.

Your Dad's car also got the 17" wheels & WS6 suspension mods.
Does yours have the 16" wheels or did someone add the 17" wheels also?

They're not identical wheels. The center caps aren't even interchangeable. The ABS wheels are 16" chromed aluminum, and the WS6 wheels are 17" polished aluminum. Take another look at them, and you'll see what I'm talking about.

the ws6 suspension for 00 and on was a joke.... standard springs and crap decarbon.... at least 98 and 99 got 1le springs...... that being said the only thing you really get is the hood, airbox and 17" wheels
