Default TT II wheel size

I ordered Torque Thrust II's from Discount Tire. When they put them on my T/A they stuck out from the fenders at least an 1 1/2". I want them flush with the fenders but they tell me that I have to custom order those wheels to fit them flush with the fenders on the car. So does everyone just order custom TT II's or what?

Sounds like your offset is incorrect. Somewhere is a thread that discusses the correct offset, but I'm not sure where it is.

As popular as they are on fourth-gens, the sales guy should have been able to just plug in the info on your car. The correct wheels should have just popped right up on his screen. Did you request a wider size wheel than stock? Either they received the wrong information, or someone ordered the wrong wheels. Try going to their site. You can order the wheels straight from there, and have them delivered to the nearest store. That's what I did last Summer when I orded my Hot Wheels Sixty-Eight wheels from them, and mine are perfect.

Thanks. Ive read the wheel offset stuff before. I relise thats my probleme. The place I ordered them from says they don't come in the offset I need. However I still see pics of T/A's with those wheels. It just didn't seem like all those people would order custom made rims.

I just ordered TT Type M's and, as y2k_ta stated, the salesman just asked for my year, make and model, and the correct make for my car popped right up. Check the width of your rim again.

The one's you need are #'s 505-79563 and 505-71163. If your going 9.5" all the way around order just the 505-79563. You can buy these from Tom Z here on the site for about the best price.
