Thats is ridiculous. Maybe, just maybe if it was one of the 8 verts made. But then again, thats crazy.

Notice that he wiped off Herb Adam's signature on the driver's side headrest so that Jim Wangers could sign it? The "1 of 697" decal on the windshield has got to go!

Anyone know what the white thing on the steering column is?

I'm an enthusiast. You might even call me a gear head, but $500K for a Trans Am??? I don't think I would pay that for an original Shelby Cobra.

It's really a moot point though. Unless I win the lottery (and I haven't bought a ticket in months), I will never have that kind of money anyway. So, it's pointless for me to say I wouldn't spend it; I'll never have it!

Still, that's a beautiful car.

Door alignment (especially over time) is a real issue with first-gens. I'm guessing do to years of stress on the unibody.

I agree

As much of a Trans Am Lover as I am I would never pay 500K for that Car.
I like `69's but I would rather have one of the 25 `70 Lucerne Blue LS1 Trans Am's, preferably with a 4spd also.

with 500k i would buy a rare 4th gen ta, gmmg camaro, z06, 03-04 cobra and maybe throw a viper in mix as well... yup!

Can't tell due to over exposure caused by the camera flash. Back in the day (pre-1970's) that is where we kept our vehicle registration. However that object appears to be too large.
