Hey, Im looking for just what the thread title says...Does anyone make or know of someone who makes an LED 3rd brake light for the highrise spoiler? I know you can get them for the SS camaros but I've searched around and havent found anything out there yet for our T/A's. Im thinking about possibly making one but like all the other threads on our honeycomb taillights- its seems to be a pain and not much light shows through depending on color and brightness of led's, etc., etc. Let me know what you guy's/gal's have, and if its non sponsor- please PM. Oh and if you have pics too, that would def. be helpful. Thanks in advance.

you can just get the new tower style led lights that have the same end as your current bulbs check ebay and look for smt leds

Those suck, seriously. I bought some for my DRLs and they are maybe 1/2 bright as stock lights.

I already have some LED SMT's in my reverse lights which are bright and have thought about putting them in the high rise brake light but Im more or less looking for a swap out. Maybe something like RED LED's with a clear cover over them or something. Thanks.

sadly enough i never took any night shots of the back of that car and i sold it a couple of years ago. i replaced the ones in tail lights. i havent had to replace any bulbs in my iroc spoiler on my hawk and i dread ever having to replace them but if they are the same socket then those bulbs would work i dont know but might be worth looking into. i see you are from buffalo truckstops up there are not like the ones in the south i used to be a otr driver.
