All I know Chuk, is that on a Formula was that leather and cloths were optional.

However, you might have to wait for Johnny to chime in as you have heard the same numbers Ive got.

Ok i dont feel like reading all of this, but i think i found my answer elsewhere but i think id be better off asking you guys...

how many of my exact car were made?
Silver, 2002 WS6, M6 Coupe?

That is weird. I get my 02 numbers from fbodyhangout and nobody has ever said anything about different 02 numbers.

Default 1998 NBM convertible Trans Am with Taupe top
where should i email get get an exact number made of my car. i know in 1998 they made 126 NBM convertibles but i think that number is for V6 and V8 plus they made them in Black and Taupe tops. the majority of the cars i have seen this color have the black tops. So im thinking i have a 1 of 10 or less car? I dont know if i cant find out here i guess maybe someone could tell me at carlise.

The numbers I have on '98 Firebirds shows:
77 NBM Firebird 'verts
122 NBM T/A 'verts, 8 of which were WS6s

(I've always suspected that the source that 122 number comes from doesn't include Canadian cars because it shows only 2835 WS6 built in '98 and I have #3030. So your 126 number might be more accurate. Do you have a source where you got that?)

I've never seen a top color vs body color breakdown on '98s. I've seen a few NBM 'verts w/ taupe tops, but not many taupe tops to begin with in any color.

After doing a little searching on this site it looks like trans ams are a lot more rare then ws6's. If I do my math right there were only 3225 regular trans ams made in 2000. Can anyone find out how many of those were pewter, a4, ttop, tan interior with tan leather, on the 2000 model year?

Well, from '96-'99, WS6s were more rare, then in 2000-2002, T/A WS6s became so popular they outsold non-WS6 T/A counterparts (Formula WS6s in 2000, the last year that combo was offered, was still more rare than non-WS6 Formulas). Here's a top-level year-by-year listing:

AFAIK. Is it possible the other numbers you've seen have combined WS6 T/A coupes w/ WS6 'verts, or non-WS6 coupes, or all other Firebirds?

I cant remember where i have seen them all, but im talking about the total ws6 number. if i get a fenderwell sticker made what is the total number that needs to be on it?

1995 TA, coupe (black), 6spd, graphite leather interior...?

i narrowed it down to 1 of 2460 or so (based off TA model, coupe & 6spd), but couldnt break it down further by color or leather interior, which would make the number even lower...

any help would be great...

thanks for the info you provided. narrowed it down to 1 of 2263 made (using hardtop/m6 stats). might have confused you by saying coupe (ment hardtop), M6...now, if i could eventaully find how many were black the # would be even lower...
