Default GXP Dyno Results

Well it's time for the internut bench racing to stop as I have REAL numbers for everyone. The dyno was on a Dynojet @ 21st Century Musclecars in Carrollton, TX. The weather today couldn't have been more perfect(70 & low humidity) and the correction factor was zero so here's the results:

2nd Pull (bone stock) - 367 hp @ 5900 / 376 tq @ 4700
3rd Pull (no air filter) - 371 hp @ 5900 / 379 tq @ 4700

This is a M6 car with 1800 miles. Also, the redline is 6600 rpm in case anyone was curious (its not indicated on the tach).

For those who wonder if there is a lot to be had with a tune, the A/F was 11.5 (with filter) and the timing was 15.5 degrees. The shop said the Vettes run 22 degrees stock and they tune them to 25. Needless to say with a cold air and a good tune I should be close to 400 whp. Rock on!

Holy underrated car, Batman! Figuring a say 18% DT loss that would be right at 450 HP at the fly. Enough bull shiting get it to the track and see what she will run.

Bolt-ons.... maybe not. Definitely with a larger cam or FI. 400 rwhp will likely be relatively easy to obtain while maintaining its factory-like feel

Maybe hes referring to flywheel hp and not rwhp, or atleast I hope so. I am interested to see when the H/C swaps will begin to see if 500rwhp is attainable NA.

this car is gonna be knocking on the door of 500 horsepower(crank) with full boltons ... ls3 is incredible.

with ported stock heads and cam i would think 500 rwhp would be a walk in the park with the ls7 based heads.....

i'd say header, intake,TB, intake manifold ported, exhaust, crank pully i'd be damn close to 500whp, with a cam most def.

Don't think it'll be THAT close, maybe 460-475, but w/ cam swap it should be +500.

Aren't LS3 6 speed vettes putting down about 380-390?
I guess the GXP airbox is a restriction?

True, bolt on C6 LS3s are doing that so the G8 GXP should be able to as well.

Could be the airbox or even the exhaust and/or factory tune. But 367rwhp bone stock is still pretty damn strong, it's even a tiny bit higher than I'd thought the GXPs would make.
