Default GXP M6 w/ Maggie 2300 Dyno Video

We just finished this car for a customer from Deleware. It is a 2009 GXP M6 with the following mods:

Magnacharger MP2300 Supercharger Kit
Kooks 1 7/8" Shorty Headers
Corsa Exhaust & Integrated "X" Style Crossover Pipe
Rotofab Cold Air Intake System
Tuned by Livernois Motorsports

The baseline numbers were with Kooks 1 7/8" Shorty Headers, Corsa Exhaust & Integrated "X" Style Crossover Pipe, and Rotofab Cold Air Intake System.

From 411 RWHP / 401 RWTQ to 526 RWHP / 481 RWTQ. Even though the peak TQ gain was 80, there are spot down low that are up 100 +.

Regards,

Rick LeBlanc

Man those things respond well to Maggies! Did you ever get the fuel system worked out on the other one...

I think that car may have been ok with a Boost-A-Pump, but it'll be nice to have an aftermarket in-tank system.

We aren't doing the fuel system on that car. We sold the parts to the customer and he installed them, then brought the car here to put it on the dyno. He is working on the fuel system on his own.

Thanks for the update. What's the reasoning on the MP1900 making more rwhp/rwtq over the MP 2300 w/ more mods? Was the 1900 pushing much more boost? Just curious. Thanks,

Larry

The 1900 car has an LS9 camshaft (which I wasn't aware of when the car was here). I also still believe that at low boost levels the 1900 will out perform the 2300, but down the road the 2300 will be capable of more with a smaller pulley.

That "R" was put on by the customer in honor of the Vaxhall Bathhurst VXR8.

Nice to know a GXP with shorties, catback, and intake (CAI) can make well over 400rwhp! That 2300 is so tempting!

I visited their shop when this car was being worked on and let me tell you that I was very impressed. I would have no issues with these guys working on my car. I ended up going with their Stage 1 C cam to go along with my TVS 2300 setup for my 09 GXP M6. I just received my tune from Dan and was hoping for 500 RWHP, but it looks like I might get more. Great Job Rick!
