Default removal of dealer logo on trunk

Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best product to use to remove the dealer name from the trunk?

Thanks!

Hair dryer plus your nail. Or soft card. Then use compound for the gunk

I used fishing line to remove my GM Logo from my GT and cleaned up with bumper sticker removal fluid. No chance of scratching paint with fishing line.

Hit it with the hair dryer and the little black vinyl letters peeled right off.

Thanks again!

Idk if I'd want to use wd40 on my paint.

I just did this with my G8. Use a hairdryer to heat up the sticker (unless the car is sitting in the sun all day). Get the sticker off with your fingernail and use some good compound (I used 3M and it worked great) to get the leftover adhesive off.

Mine peeled right off. I took the emblems off with fishing line and the residue with WD40. WD40 is totally safe! It breaks down the residue very well. Just finish it up with a coat of wax and you're done!

Whether it is a vinyl sticker or plastic with 3M tape, start off with a hair dryer and peel it off with your fingernail. If you have the plastic style with 3M tape that is particularly stubborn, you can use fishing line to cut through the 3M tape and remove the plastic portion. This will leave a good bit of residue behind. Use Goo Gone to remove the residue. Spray it on, let it soak in, and then rub off the residue with your finger.

Once it is all off wash, wax and enjoy.

Like said WD40 is safe for the paint, and most of the other suggestions will work as well.

+1. Used WD40 on the badges and visor stickers. Can even spray it into the intake for winter storage
