Default IRS Shootout Lena, Ms whos interest

MISSISSIPPI MOTORSPORTS PARK in Lena, Ms. is going to put on a IRS Shootout open to all brands. There will be a manditory street crusie.
Classes include a Bracket race, DOT tire all motor class, DOT tire Power Adder Class, Real Street Radial Class, Best 3 run Average, and closer to the end of the night there will be a Heads Up Class any tire any fuel.

Real Radial will be any common street tire with a treadrating of 200 or higher so no drag radials this shoudl be fun to watch and will be more difficult for stronger cars

Probably going to break the dot all motor class into 4 door and 2 door subclasses same with the dot power adder

I have not tryied anything since I have had basicly no feed back on 8 forums its not looking like its going to be worth my effert. I can still do it if need be but lets say through 8 boards i'm really down and out about it now.

In my opinion you should have made it more wide open, not so many street rules. That would have got my interest even though its probably too far away for me to actually go. Model it after ECS which is a known success.

I asked for opinions and got nothing. And again as I said before your car would fit in the modified class as a street car down here. I will talk to him some we may have a nuff IRS cars in the area alone to make it a good race.

Oh I got a Idea what if we throw a anytire, any fuel, no cruze class in there Yes thats a good idea a heads up IRS class. I like it and how bout with a payout Ok I'll run this by the owner and see what we have to do.

Tires, no muffler, blacked out taillights, no license plate or registration. its just not a street car any more.

Got ya well the License Plate/registration is the only thing in that list that would make you different than a street car here. I'm sure he will do a class no rules for cars like yours still though nobody has showed any interest so If it gets set up it will have to be All makes and models with IRS to justify the $$$

My car is a Super Pro bracket car. Even down there the cops would look at me real funny I agree though, open it up to all makes, even imports; its your best shot at getting a good crowd.

Yea but its legal lol You should seen how they look at my friends vette its got a 454ci big block bored out .030 and a big screw type super charger on it with two 4 barrel carbs and a ram air deal on to of them with the 3 tbs and the leg burning headers/side pipes lol the top of the motor is 1.25" lower than the top of the roof basicly open headers lol they look at him like man thats loud lol. he went like 9.3s i think in it. Its IRS car also.
