Default 2004 GTO Exhaust

Ok so i've narrowed my decision to SLP LM1, Magnaflow, and maybe Corsa but its a little too expensive. Mostly interested in the SLP so if you guys have any comments or suggestions please tell.

and if anyone has pacesetter headers, is it a good buy?

Thank you

Pacesetters rock IMO. Buy the LM II right off the bat because catless and LM1 is REDICULOUS LOUD. LM II sounds great BTW!

I did magnaflow after I put heads/cam on my car....it needed a quieter exhaust then the LM1 for sure.

IF you can get away with it, go with LT's and straight pipe out the back. Super loud outside and pretty quiet inside until you get up to around 75.

Corsa sounds pretty good with the stock manifolds. Headers and that sound goes away and is more annoying, IMHO. That's why I got rid of mine and put the stock catback back on. Only lost 5hp on the dyno and sounds better. I did make the H-Pipe functional.

You won't gain much with a cat back unless you are making a lot of HP.

If you plan on camming your ride dont go for the LM1. I really enjoyed my setup when i had it, i got tons of compliments. I had some fitment issues with the SLP products, as well as some product problems, but sound was great, even when i went catless. Keep in mind i am an M6, so shifting early and putting in the clutch as police drove passed was second nature, but man, WOT was just awesome. I have both the headers and the catback sitting on my bench in my garage right now waiting to get boxed up and sold, kinda miss them now. IMO, if you plan on getting headers, go with kooks, and if you want the LM1, get headers or you will get drone between 1300-2100 rpms.

I've got an 04 GTO and have the Corsa Sport Catback and installed it myself. All I can say is the fit and finish was great, fit like a glove. Took longer to get the stock catback off than get the Corsa on. Sound is great. Deep and mellow at idle and gets progressivly louder as you get on it. Best part about it is there is no drone, at all, on the freeway. Can't go wrong with the Corsa!!!

I've had multiple lol. Slp IMO sounds nasty n raspy. After it was all said n done I went with spintech catback. I have catless Lt headers with an xpipe and it sounds absolutely amazing. I'll try and upload a video to show ya
