Unhappy Over the winter GTO, could I lose power?

It's effin winter....the poor goat hasn't moved from the garage space since it started snowing early NOV, I'm pretty new to the owning a fun car game and I just simply want to know, is this going to cause any power loss?

I start it once a week, back it up then pull it back in the garage, I also put some stabil in my tank, so back to the big question, is this going to hurt my times at the track over time? I'm simply paranoid

No, the car will be fine. My GTO and Silverado have been in cold storage since Nov. also. I just add some Stabil, disconnect the neg. batt. cables, and park them until spring. Done it for years, along w/ countless other cars in the past.

Honestly, if you can't drive the car, avoid the startups. Alot of moisture gets trapped in the engine that would normally burn off while driving it. Just let it be until spring...only a few more months, lol.

Completely agree. Just park it and leave it till the warmer weather.

Yeah leave it parked. Maybe get a battery tender for it so your battery lasts a little longer. I would say keep starting it every so often but I don't know much about this moisture thing.

Condensation is not good, don't start it, as others have said.

Great idea as well. When I put mine away I fill it with gas and add Sta-bil. Change the oil, put the battery tender on, put it on jack stands, put covers on the tail pipes (keep critters out) and just leave it till I am gonna drive it. Have been doing this since day one with no issues. Still on original battery.

Battery tender is a great thing to have. I use those spongey nerf-type ***** to keep my exhaust pipes plugged to keep critters out.

stuffing things into the tail pipes to make sure nothing gets in seems a little paranoid in itself doesn't it?? lol
