Default Rear Springs Question ??

Ok I have read that when measuring from the bottom of the rim to the fender on the rear it should be around 23.75 inches. My drivers side is at 23.5 and my passenger at 24.0. Is this a problem ?

first of all you should always measure from middle of the rim to fender thats more accurate. This way you know is it sagging springs or tires

Thanks. Im not having any issues with rubbing or bottoming out, I was just curious what the possible cause may be. I was also told the bushings could be bad. Honestly I'm not sure which bushings they are refering to....

The stock springs sag bad,and the bushings they're talking about are the rear cradle bushings.

The reasoning for the springs sagging is cause when they shipped these cars over here they tightened the straps down too tight. The Cradle bushings are sometimes difficult to replace. When i did mine that sucker did not wanna come out at all. If you were looking at upgrading your suspension pedders has some options as well at kollar racing. Pedders has a back half kit that replaces all the bushings, the springs, and shocks in the rear.

I checked into the Pedders, $$$$ from what I saw. How did you end up getting your bushings out ??

First get rid of the leds, then for the bushing if i remember correctly we used an air hammer and wd40 to get them out. I've seen some that just fall right out but mine were stuck.

If your gonna crituque be nice. Im sure each and every one of us have things on your vehicles that make it your own. Im going to smoke the rear taillights. The whole reason for the LED's in the rear were to aid in the ability to see the rear of the vehicle and not get rear-ended.

Thanks, yeah I've had mixed reviews. Some like some dont. As another guy said on another forum, "If everyone only liked pink cars, then there would only be pink cars. Making the car your own is your right as the car owner." Granted I have seen some that leave allot to be desired, but thats their choice. Cant judge the guy for his/her taste in appearence.
