Default Soon to be new gto owner

Hey guys, i'm going to be back from Afghanistan soon and i'm planning on picking up an 05-06 GTO. I was just wondering what to expect while owning one. I took one for a test drive while on R&R and it felt great, alot more power than an f-body to me and felt much tighter. My plans are to put a vararam intake, kooks headers and a spintech or bassani exhaust and some drag bags on it. Thanks!

I've owned an 04 first then an 06 goat and enjoyed both of them. Currently bought my third goat another 04 and def happy with my purchase. You'll be happy with your new goat man.

If your picky like me, be prepared to pay out on a Pedder's front half repair kit because factory struts, mounts, bearings, and radius rod bushings are all garbage. Sometime in the summer or fall I will be ordering the back half repair kits from Pedder's. Just going to take $1,500 in parts to make the car drive the way its suppose to for me. Not complaining, I knew this buying the car and their front strut rub and rear spring sag issues. Just don't overpay for one, because money will have to spent rectifying factory wrongs.

Once the bushings are replaced, its like you're driving a different car, imo.
