Default Who has koni's on their gto here???

I'm thinking of selling my xa coilovers and going with koni's. I daily drive my car and dont get me wrong the xa's are freaking awesome but for daily driving in NJ I think there a bit too much. So what are your opinions?

I have Koni's out back. about 1/8 turn from full stiff, they damn near rattle your teeth out on a crappy road. Once turned down to a reasonable street setting, I honestly couldn't tell you the difference from stock. No experience with the fronts, I'll be putting BC coils in up front, but I highly recommend them.

the BC's and XA's are made by the same company...........

dont get koni fronts..... cutting the original strut in a half and pressing the koni cartridge in is sketchy and leaves too much room for error IMO....... try pedders gsr's or comfort gas shocks if your unhappy with xa's even at the softest setting

I've had them all the way around for 4 years. I normally run them all the way soft on the street and they ARE stiffer with more control than stock that way. Just take the stock shock and the Koni in your bare hands and compress them both. The stock unit is about as strong as a screen door closer. On full stiff they make the car jump on expansion joints on the street but I stiffen the backs at the track.

I had the GSR's and loved them but i got a nice deal on the xa's so i jump on them. I'm gonna try going to a softer spring rate for the xa's.

i've got them on all corners with lovell's 20mm drop springs. i leave them at about 3/4 turn above full soft and the thing feels like it's on rails.
i f'ing love it!

Got koni's and 3/4" drop lovells springs all the way around... no regrets! Definitely need to go soft for local driving. I just swapped in an iron 402 and unfortunately the extra weight is causing the front tires almost to hit the fenders. Probably going to go back to stock height springs for the front.
