2006 gto, having a few issues just bought the car i just bought a 06 goat with the trick flow gen x package and full slp loudmouth exhaust, the car isnt throwing a check engine light but keeps throwing the service vehicle soon light, when i scanned it with the tech 2 it gives codes b0018 -passenger sensor feed fault and u0010- loss of communication with hvac, and it had a few abs codes in the history but when i cleared them they never came back.....ive looked over the wiring and checked connections and seems fine....is this a bad bcm? i thought that these cars had a lot of bcm issues i read about awhile back but cant seem to find those threads or tsb's any more

Check the wire harness above the glove box, these cars have issues with the wire harness rubbing on dash supports causing faults with codes and etc.

i am having the same problem and i get a check engine light for about five minutes and service oil soon light and it shows my trac off and wont let me turn it back on and i will turn the car off then back on and it will work fine

I had the same problems check engine light and all kinds of codes comming up it turned out that i had a problem with the computer i took it to pontiac and they found a bad pin in the computer

Had the same issue last month...out the blue as soon as I turned on the car, SERVICE ENGINE SOON, had a pic of a car and a wrench, hit menu and it would go away, but come back at start up, I replaced the OIL PRESSURE SENSOR, no issue so far, could possibly resolve issue...http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/archive...p/t-57826.html

Mine has a code those issues are a little different, do these cars turn on the seat belt light wwhen a passenger is in the seat not wearing a seat belt, I know the drivers seat does but does the passenger seat? I think it may be a problem in the seat...thanks

It only illuminates for the driver if not buckled, per the manual....When the key is turned ON, the safety belt light will come on for several seconds and a chime will be sounded for eight seconds, then it will flash continuously until the driver's seat is buckled. If the driver's belt is already buckled, the light will not come on.
