Default fbody supercharger on a gto

Will a fbody supercharger fit on a 04 ls1 gto? Fitment issues? modifications needed?

Id imagine you'd have to be concerned on the accessory setup as they are different and designed to run with how the pulleys are set up on that model. Also hood clearance may be a issue but I kinda doubt it.

What kind of blower are you looking at is the big question.

And what modifications are required for putting it on an Fbody? I know alot of them require notching the cowl

If nothing else you can call the makers and see what the differences are

You might just need to modify or buy a bracket or two

Would love a procharger kit but cant afford it so if i were to d one i may do a vortech. I actually did do some research tonight and found that base kits for the gto by vortech are discontinued but the v2 kit for a gto still seems to be available. It was about $2700 if i recall. But if i could find a vortech from a fbody im thinking i could find one quite a bit cheaper

If your looking for a desk, you might want to troll some mustang forums too, most of them are basically the same when it comes to the procharger or vortec style, just different brackets. Some different models of Mustangs came stock with them trying to keep up with the ls1s

The fbody and GTO share the same pulleys so it will work. If it's a Maggie, you may have hood clearance problems, but your question is not very focused. What kind of supercharger are you looking at???
