i know i just got it and realy like the car i ran a 04 mach one 5spd and we both won one race and i thot i was doing ok and then i ran a stock 11 mustang gt and it pretty much kicked my *** and the guy really knew how to drive but it just gives me to itch to go faster. with a stock motor how many pounds of boost can you run without damage? what all would it take to get the car into low 12s or high 11s?

Longtubes, a good CAI (like the svede), converter, drag radials, and a tune would get you right where you want to be. Add a cam to that list and it should do high 11s.

Yeah, you might be interested in getting some 243's. Congrats on the purchase.

Ive herd these heads are really good especially if ported. Is there any aftermarket heads that you guys have had alot of success with?

Those heads are significantly better than the 241s on there now, and they only get better with porting. Not much reason to go more expensive unless you're looking for huge power numbers. Couldn't even begin to tell you what to do to get that supercharger to fit, for one thing, it probably won't even fit under the hood, and that's if you could get a belt to it off the accessory drive. Go for it, though, the motor's the same as any other LS.

Maybe if you swapped over to all the truck accessories and water pump, if I'm correct the puppies on the trucks sit about an inches and a half farther out away from the front of the motor, unless you could get a custom pully/ snout for the charger.

What ever you decide, you've got a great car to play with do enjoy and welcome to the herd!
