West Coast Speed... Are they still in business?
Paid them on 04/09/13 for some SAP replica grilles 265$
I immediatley got a email with a opened account with them and a payment confirmation to a Spencer Wainwright. But havent heard from them since. Ive called and left a message and emailed them and i'm still waiting....
Just wondering how long some of you have waited for the grilles to show.

Spencer is slow and his communication skills leave much to be desired... He really needs to respond to requests for order information. He is still in business so be patient, they will come.

I can't do business with someone that treats customers this way. I have ordered one item from West Coast and it took 6 weeks to arrive. No communication. No response to emails. The product is nice, but when I pay for something, I expect to be kept informed about delays and estimated shipping dates. Too many people in the GTO community have been burned by suppliers that suddenly go out of business.

WCSs customer service is atrocious. I bought their IAT sensor simply because they are the only ones that make it and I knew they would be stocked, I got mine a week later. As far as ever considering buying a major part though that's out of the question. The wait time is completely ridiculous. I don't know why Spencer doesn't make a run of say 10 of each product, then sell them all and ship them out. That's they way it should be done. The current way of making customers wait 6 weeks or more is ridiculous.

This.
Sure he also likes it the way he does it because if he makes say 10 of each yet nobody buys them then hes at a loss. Producing as ordered seems to work but I do agree better communication is needed at least. The GTO isn't really a huge demand market so it can go either way it's not like Marks business (6litereater) with FBodies being much more popular and cheaper for parts.

You have to be patient. Call Spencer and continue to call until he answers. I've ordered two items from him. Both arrived later than said date, however Im super happy with both of them.
West Coast makes aftermarket parts for a dying limited 7-9 year old car that nobody else makes. Yes the custy service is atrocious but just keep calling. He will answer.

I don't mind waiting just mind if the promised date is going to be missed and no communication comes about that. Appearance mods are one thing...if you order a performance part is where I would mind. Some people don't live close to a trusted tuner or the place they use is so busy you have to schedule a couple weeks in advance.

I'm glad I read this thread, as I was thinking about getting some SAP replica stuff but now I'm not so sure that'll happen What a shame, as they buy out all these other smaller guys (for whatever reason) then take their time. Don't like those types of businesses and won't spend my money with them if that's the case.
