lifter ticking
Recently been getting alot of ticking from my heads...seems to be loud from idle to low rpms and goes away during crusing. Lifters out of sync or maybe bad? I used stock ones when i did my torquer v2 cam.

Did you check your push rod length when changing cams? I know many cams are supposed to require stock length rods but I wouldn't change a valve train component and not take the time to check.

Agreed! Start here. Also, I'd replace the stock lifters with new LS7 lifters and a new tray. Lesson for all, a proper cam change is more involved than replacing the cam.

How many miles on the lifters?
I have 47k miles on my stock lifters with 2k of those miles with a 231/242 .617 .592 cam. I didn't make the swap to LS7 lifters because they seem to fail quite a bit as well. One day I'll upgrade, but no issues so far. I think good springs and the proper length pushrods are very important to the life of your lifters.
I should add I also don't go revving to the moon knowing I have stock lifters and roller rockers. I stick to the factory redline.

The ticking is a warning of something going on. Pull the valve covers ASAP and start looking around. How is the oil pressure?
