subwoofer in trunk?
How much sound does the gas tank and sealed trunk really mask? And does removing the rear deck subs help at all? I'd like to do a nice sundown audio 8 in the spare tire hole but not if it's barely gonna make it into the cabin.

Looks pretty nice but more than I need for a my daily/family car. I just don't wanna spend money on a single sub setup for it to sound like crap. I really don't want to build a box in the cab but its looking like my only option.

I've seen those I was trying to avoid that route. I was worried it would cause alot of vibration and noise being so close to the plastic. But I could run some shallow mount sundown 10s and still get alot of excursion and bass.
