That's probably the best answer. Don't expect miracles the first time out. The car is difficult to launch and times will improve with practice.

fastest auto I've seen has been 13.9

but I hear they are running low 13's in other parts of the country

I've not seen anyone run as fast as me (And I'm a shitty driver)

Only things changed on the engine are a K&N drop in air filter and NGK TR6 spark plugs.

Impressive. Curious why you switched to a colder plug?

Nytiger ran 12.92 at 109 at atco nj last year in the fall. His only mods are a k&n cold air intake and 160 t-stat.He has run many low 13 times in warmer days. The cooler it is the better you will run.Just practice the most important thing, the launch.

Blue05 in her stock '05 GTO A4 ran a 12.9 at 108 bone stock in Chicago. She said it was about 45 degrees. All she did was take some air outta the tires and weight reduction. No performance mods

Yep that is what we are seeing at ETown. Key is the launch since you are running an IRS. Once you get the hang of coming out of the hole - high 12's should be in your future.
