Default RPS Clutches?

Does anybody have an RPS clutch?

I have one in my new GTO

and have some questions about whether the throwout bearing needs a shim?

Any sponsors sell them? I need some tech help

Alex, I just logged on late. Will you be around tomorrow?

I'm going to throw a 0.187" shim behind the slave this weekend, I think that sure cure my issues with the clutch not fully disengaging.

Sort of a pain when RPS says for a fix, "well just buy our new $2400 twin disk, much easier on the pedal!"

My 2900 series is new (only a few thousand on it) and this is the feedback I get

I've got the twin friction and already had to replace the disk and release bearing. The factory clutch lasted longer. They said it was "normal"... I don't think so. I'm going a different route next time.

If that is the case then I will just go with the bird of prey clutch

I'll try and call today.

do you have a solution for my problems? I can't get a new clutch...or at least RPS. I'm done with that brand now

i dont do installs much, so i personally don't. Mike the Shop Manager and Ryne the owner might have come across it before and be able to get you sorted out.
