Default Comments on SLP Loudmouth 1

I just bought a LM1 and the car has kooks/wo cats and a 232/234 cam and I am hoping it sounds mean at wot and a little GANSTA at idle any comments about what it may sound like. And Im deployed and will have my brother put it on for me and get a vid of before and after. Now the car has a stock catback with flowmaster mufflers.

Yes, it'll sound evil, wicked, mean, and nasty. I had SLP on mine for a short period of time, I'm too old I guess, it was freakin' way too loud for me and tended to drone a bit at highway speed. I since then have changed to Magnaflow and glad I did.

+1 on the nasty. This was before the h/c/i. It was so nasty that I opt for the LMII resonators.

not exactly. It does have a distinct tone to it. Its loud, but in a smooth good way. Once the car warms up it sounds ideal to me.

I am purchasing the Lm exhaust for my 04. I was wondering, what brand of Lt headers will giver me the loudest and most badass sound?
I was looking at SW catless (off road) headers.

Kooks or Pacesetters.....kooks because thats what everyone considers the best, pacesetters because they get the job done and are the cheapest.

I have pacesetters and could not be happier with them, perfect fit/finish and they sound great plus gave a **** ton more midrange and uptop power.
