Default upgraded GM steering shafts!

Do you have a worn rag joint on the steering shaft of your 82-92 camaro, 82-93 s-series truck, or 78-87 g-body? look no further! i have for sale a steering shaft that utilizes a u-jointed yoke instead of the rag joint and ball/socket joint of the original. This eliminates the unsightly, sloppy rag joint and gives a much more positive feel while maintaining the ability to articulate, thus no binding like that of a rag joint eliminator. These joints are modified gm units and are a near bolt in to your car! I have instructions for those interested. be better connected to your steering!
I have 4 of these available. $75! I'm in Mt Airy/Edlersburg area. Can ship if needed!

Didn't think this through real well. Can't get the pics up here from my phone so I can send pictures through text at your request, otherwise I will update this thread with pictures when I get home tonight.

I have not been able to confirm if this will work on the pre-metric boxes or not yet. I will try to find a 1st/2nd gen shaft and get back with you. those aren't just laying around for testing purposes unfortunately.

How about an astro shaft with the 4th gen joint on the steering column end? I'd prefer to keep the stock mounting style to the steering column if possible.

are you saying you want to keep the through-bolt type instead of the pinch bolt? i will look the next time i'm at a yard to see if i can get a 4th gen shaft and see if that will work. however, i'm not sure if the intermediate shaft end of the yoke is compatible with the astro intermediate shaft. i'll be happy to investigate further. In the event i'm able to configure it this way, the price would have to increase as a result of the necessary core pieces.

Yeah exactly. I just don't like to cut or grind on things is I don't have to. Says the guy who put an LS1 in a third gen... I've seen it done with the 4th gen shaft (although I'm not sure if it should have been done or not). The cost increase is expected. Any idea of when you might be able to check? I've been meaning to check as well, but I've been super busy with my head swap lately.
